The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll play an important part in delivering the high standards of workmanship and customer service our business is built upon.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Working across a variety of passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and electric vehicles.
- Identifying additional repair requirements and communicating findings clearly.
- Completing job cards, service records and warranty documentation accurately.
- Carrying out vehicle road tests when required.
- Supporting junior technicians and contributing to a positive team environment.
- Maintaining excellent workshop safety and housekeeping standards.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems and thrives as part of a team.
Ideally, you'll have:
- NVQ, IMI or City & Guilds qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology.
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to manage your workload efficiently.
- A full UK driving licence.
