Job Description
Store Account Manager Harrods, Selfridges & John Lewis
To ensure that the counter achieves targets by driving the team. Duties including but not limited to:
- Setting an example for the team.
- Ensuring that all daily counter tasks are undertaken.
- Figures completion – daily and weekly. Managing targets and their allocation.
- Regular stock management, ensuring oos are minimal and to build a relationship with the instore buying to team to support this.
- To ensure the counter is adequately stocked with products, keeping an eye on stock levels throughout the day and replenishing where necessary and to ensure products are displayed with current company guidelines.
- Ensuring adequate counter cover by ensuring rotas are formatted.
- Delegating duties to the team and following up that they have been performed correctly.
- Mentoring the team
- Assisting with training new product launches.
- To ensure that an excellent level of customer service is always provided.
- To actively traffic stop to build brand awareness and ensure that the team also do this.
- To provide makeup and skincare consultations.
- To book appointments and build ongoing client loyalty. This includes customer database building and communication.
- To maintain the counter by cleaning surfaces and display areas daily with provided cleaning materials. Ensuring all consultation areas are always clean and ready to use.
- To effectively manage transactions. Stores where required will provide necessary cash handling training.
- To lead by example and be an active team member.
- To always represent the BY Terry brand in the best possible way.
Sales.
- To achieve sales targets as set by the company.
- To achieve personally and ensure the team also achieve brand items per transaction (IPT) and average pound sale (A£S) expectations.
- Currently set at:- IPT = 3. A£S – £150
- To actively promote new launches and promotions.
- To track team sales and feedback any sales information as required at the end of each day.
- To coach the team to enable them to reach their targets.
- To come up with new ideas for event promotions and work with the retail manager to execute these.
Dress code and image.
- To represent the company whilst at work by wearing our products and dressing in the dress code of the store location. Items should be clean and well pressed with no faded colours. Dress code requirements are discussed further at your brand induction.
Working hours
Your working hours are set out in your contract. Shift patterns will be confirmed in a monthly rota. You may be required to work such additional hours as may be necessary for the proper performance of your duties without extra remuneration. You are entitled to take an unpaid lunch break of one hour, to be taken at a time agreed by the Company.
