Role: The UK National Account Manager is fully responsible for the commercial and operational management of key strategic retailers. This includes ownership of sell-in and sell-out performance, ensuring brand growth, operational excellence, and strategic alignment across physical retail, e-commerce, and TV/home shopping channels.
You will:
- Own sell-in and sell-out performance across the UK
- Build and drive Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with strategic accounts
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to guide decision-making
- Lead the full 360° account operations: product launches, forecasts, stock tracking, promotions, and more
- Develop and manage promotional calendars in collaboration with Marketing, VM, Training, and Digital
- Coordinate new product launches: from asset readiness to field execution
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with key retail buyers and partners
- Oversee and optimise trade investments (sampling, visibility, activations, co-op, etc.)
- Deliver and report on sales KPIs, forecasts, and ROI across all accounts
- Line-manage the UK Retail Manager and contribute to field execution and team alignment
- Ensure tight internal coordination between Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing & Digital teams
You are:
- Experienced in managing premium beauty, lifestyle or skincare retail accounts (experience with Boots, Space NK, John Lewis, QVC or similar is a plus)
- Skilled in both commercial strategy and operational detail
- Able to navigate multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, international setup
- Comfortable managing both direct retail and distributor models
- Strong with numbers, insights, and data-led business planning
- A clear communicator, structured, responsive, and confident
