We are looking for a Beauty Consultant to represent our brand at Harrods, on a 2-day-per-week contract.
General duties
- Always provide an excellent level of customer service.
- Actively traffic stop to attract new customers and build brand awareness.
- Provide makeup and skincare consultations as per Company and Store requirements.
- Meet artistry expectations and have good artistry techniques while relaying the BY TERRY message.
- Book appointments and build ongoing client loyalty, including customer database building for BY TERRY specifically as well as store databases to meet both Company and Store KPI expectations.
- Contact customers regularly to check on how products are working and invite them to events.
- Ensure the counter is adequately stocked with products, keeping an eye on stock levels throughout the day.
- Communicate with your manager regarding out of or low stocks and replenish where necessary, ensuring products are displayed within current company guidelines.
- Maintain the counter by cleaning surfaces and display areas daily with provided cleaning materials.
- Ensure all consultation areas are always clean and ready to use, with all surfaces, products, and brushes cleaned and sanitised after each client.
- Follow good personal hygiene practices throughout the day and adhere to the latest guidelines.
- Effectively manage transactions; stores will provide necessary cash handling training where required.
- Be an active team member: friendly, approachable, outgoing, punctual, extremely presentable, trustworthy, and reliable.
- Produce your own content for social media and submit at least one ‘look of the week’ or item of content each week.
- Always represent the BY TERRY brand in the best possible way.
Sales
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs as set by the company.
- Be a good consistent seller who link sells all the time with the Hero 5 and newness.
- Achieve brand items per transaction (IPT) and average pound sale (A£S) expectations, currently set at: IPT = 3, A£S = £150.
- Actively promote new launches and promotions, including build-up discussions with clients and other departments, booking appointments, and tracking sales.
- Be aware of daily/weekly personal and counter targets, track sales, and provide feedback on any sales information as required at the end of each day.
