This independent body, accountable to the FCA and PRA, is seeking the support of an Assistant Company Secretary on a full-time basis. This role will be offered as a 12-month fixed term contract, with its overall duration likely to run up to 18 months.
Reporting directly to the Company Secretary, you'll be supporting a wide range of company secretarial and governance duties, including:
- Board & Committee Support
- Statutory Compliance
- Corporate Governance
- Stakeholder Management
As part of a small team, you can also expect to be involved in various ad hoc activities, so being able to turn your hand to different duties and prioritising tasks will be key in this role.
The organisation is based in the City of London and operates a hybrid working policy of three days in the office and two from home. You'll be reporting to a professional, supportive Chartered Secretary who will provide continued professional support and development. However, you'll need to demonstrate a certain level of experience and ability to work fairly autonomously.
Minute taking is essential in this role, and working experience of diligent for the creation of board packs (or similar software) would be incredibly useful.
