Well-known national retailer seeks to recruit a seasoned company secretarial professional to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days a week). Based at the central London office, and reporting to the Executive Deputy Chair, this is a standalone role which covers an interesting mix of matters, working independently and effectively to cover the usual statutory and Board/meetings duties, together with some property governance administration, and acting as first point of contact for shareholder queries.
Purpose of Role
To deliver company secretarial, governance and property governance administration for the Group, ensuring statutory compliance, effective Board processes and well-organised corporate and property records. The role supports the Chair & Deputy Chair and provides hands-on coordination of governance and property documentation. This is a practical operational role combining corporate governance delivery with structured property administration.
The successful candidate is likely to have the following skills and experience:
- Strong company secretarial / governance administration experience
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Co Pilot (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Confident managing structured documentation and records digitally
- Able to work across multiple systems and coordinate information from Finance, Property and Legal
- Experience with Companies House online filing
- Proven experience managing shareholder relationships and communications
