What will you doAs a Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in combining practical hands-on engineering support with long-term reliability and maintenance development. The successful candidate will work closely with both site teams and engineering colleagues to improve mechanical system performance, support operational troubleshooting, and help drive technical improvements across the UK sites.Develop and improve mechanical maintenance systems and practices across the UK fleetProvide mechanical engineering support in connection with plant modifications, maintenance activities, and other critical operational interventionsContribute to improvements in plant reliability, maintainability, and operational performanceLead or participate as an expert in root cause analysis and similar investigationsConduct technical surveys, inspections, condition assessments, and investigations to support reliability and maintenance improvementsMake sure all plans follow the agreed guidelines to the extent possible, and help clear any obstacles, impeding thisPrepare technical specifications, coordinate technical activities with contractors and suppliers, and support implementation of maintenance solutionsWhat do you bring to the fieldPreferably, you hold a degree in mechanical engineering combined with practical experience from industrial plants, power generation, or similar operational environments.Ideally, you have experience working with mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, fault finding, and technical support within operating plants.
