What will you do
As a Senior DCS Engineer, you will deliver advanced expertise across the full lifecycle of BWSC’s energy plants supporting the plants in operational matters, lifecycle overviews, change management procedures, supplier and SLA management as well as Cybersecurity and Compliance questions.
Your core duties will include:
- Operational Support
- Perform DCS and PLC health checks
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Participate in planned outages and maintenance activities
- Provide emergency call-out support when required
- Lifecycle & Change Management
- Support obsolescence and lifecycle management initiatives
- Participate in Change Management and Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes
- Coordinate system upgrades, patching, and backup/restore activities
- Maintain technical documentation and asset inventories
- Act as technical focal point towards OEMs and service providers
- Follow up on SLA performance and service contracts
- Coordinate vendor interventions and support activities
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues with suppliers
- Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Participate in OT risk assessments
- Support vulnerability management and patching activities
- Assist in incident response and recovery activities
- Promote compliance with company standards and applicable regulations
What do you bring to the field
Preferably, you hold an Engineering degree (BSc/MSc) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plant Engineering or a related field with an understanding of DCS, SCADA and OT environments. Experience from power plants, utilities, process industry, marine, or offshore environments is highly relevant.
In addition, you hold:
