You’re a multi-skilled designer with over 3 years’ experience creating designs and concepts for marketing agencies. Your portfolio showcases your creativity; ability to work across both digital and traditional media; and how you keep up to date with the latest creative trends and technologies. You’re looking for an agency where you can thrive and grow. Somewhere you’ll get mentoring and support to develop your personal and professional skills as well as the camaraderie that comes from being part of a tight-knit team in a growing regional agency.

BWP is an award winning destination marketing agency. We elevate brands with impactful, creative strategies that bring people to places to achieve commercial growth. Our integrated marketing campaigns support the growth of brands like The Trafford Centre, Gravity and Lakeside.

All our employees enjoy the standard benefits you’d expect:

  • A competitive salary (£32-35k);
  • 25 days paid holiday plus bank holidays and an extra day for your birthday;
  • A pension scheme;
  • Hybrid working – three days collaborating in our Marlow town centre offices (Monday, Wednesday & Thursday) and two days working from anywhere;
  • Company bonus scheme (discretionary) – if BWP does well, so do you. Our Midweight Designers can get up to 6% of annual salary as a bonus;
  • Bespoke Personal Development Plans and the mentoring and support you need to pave your way to Senior Designer and beyond;
  • A busy social calendar with regular company socials;
  • A culture of appreciation, reward, and recognition with monthly and quarterly awards and celebrations;
  • Company wellbeing programme including a free counselling service as needed.

As a Midweight Designer, you will be supporting the Design Director and Senior Designers/Creatives to take the design project through from conception to delivery. You will have responsibility for:

  • Producing well designed, impactful, and thought-provoking creative solutions for our clients;
  • Taking client briefs; interpreting, questioning, and following them; then delivering creatives that accurately and precisely deliver the requirements;
  • Interpreting and implementing the creative vision across a broad range of projects ranging from digital, social and motion to print;
  • Delivering work that is original, creative, ‘clever’ and executed to the highest standard;
  • Amending designs according to feedback from both internal teams and the client themselves.

We’re looking for a multi-skilled designer with at least 3 years’ experience. Ideally, this will have been in a creative/integrated marketing agency though freelance and internal studio team experience in a similarly fast‑paced environment would also be considered. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a portfolio that showcases their work across a range of disciplines including online & offline, static & moving image and branding; and an understanding of how print and pixel can work together;
  • Has in-depth working knowledge of key design packages, designing for UI & UX, animation and artworking;
  • Is comfortable suggesting new and innovative creative ideas, not just responding to briefs and enjoys working effectively and co‑operatively with others;
  • Isn’t afraid to challenge clients, briefs or assumptions;
  • Enjoys pushing boundaries, trying new things and finding new, creative ways of doing things;
  • Strives to make a positive impact in everything you do, be it for your clients, your colleagues or the wider community;
  • Wholeheartedly loves what you do, and who you do it with and for;
  • Is fun, friendly and driven to use your heart as well as your head;
  • Can be office‑based in Marlow three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

If you think you’re the person we’re looking for, please apply with your CV and a link to your portfolio. If we like the look of your CV/portfolio, you’ll be set a practical task, to show us your skills. This helps us understand not only what you can do, but, just as importantly, how you work. Impress us with your work and you’ll be invited to have a Teams chat with our Senior Designer and our Head of Creative or Design Director. Impress them and there’ll be one more stage – a more informal chat with some of the wider Studio team. Wow them and the job’s yours!
