This one is for a surveyor who has done the technical apprenticeship, is very good at the job, and now
wants a hand on the wheel of the business rather than just a seat in it.
We are director-led and deliberately close-knit, and we are at the point where the next tier of
leadership matters. An Associate here is a genuine step towards Director, not a title handed out to
keep someone.
THE ROLE
- Owning key client relationships and being the name they call first
- Leading a portfolio of professional and project instructions across the practice
- Technical oversight and quality control on colleagues’ reports and specifications
- Winning work: fee proposals, pitches, framework submissions and networking
- Line management, mentoring and APC counselling for our surveying team
- Contributing to how the practice runs — resourcing, process, standards, risk
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- MRICS with substantial post-qualification experience, typically 8+ years
- A track record of running instructions and clients without supervision
- Commercial judgement: fee setting, scope control, risk and profitability
- Someone people want to be managed by
- Existing North West relationships are welcome, though not essential
- Full UK driving licence
