BWM Ltd is a civil and structural engineering consultancy with offices in East Belfast and London. For nearly 30 years we have delivered structural and civil engineering design across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and mainland Britain — from one-off private houses to a £56m post-primary campus, one of the largest education projects in Northern Ireland's history.
We are looking for Civil & Structural Engineers to join our East Belfast team across a range of experience levels.
The role
You will work across BWM's full project portfolio — residential, education, commercial, high-rise, infrastructure, and refurbishment — taking designs from concept through to construction. Day-to-day you will produce structural and civil designs using AutoCAD, Revit, and Masterseries; prepare drawings, specifications, and reports; liaise with architects, contractors, and clients; and contribute to site inspections and construction oversight. BIM delivery via Revit is standard practice here.
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of professional experience in civil or structural engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Masterseries
- Strong technical grounding in structural analysis and construction processes
- Clear communicator — comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams
- Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage competing deadlines
