Our client, a well-established Legal 500 firm, is seeking an experienced Planning Solicitor to join their thriving team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented legal professional to take the next step in their career with a firm known for its expertise in commercial legal solutions to a variety of successful SMEs and larger clients.
Position Overview
As a Planning Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality legal services to the firm\’s clients, which include entrepreneurs, company directors, shareholders and high net worth individuals. You will work on a variety of planning projects, including s106, s38, s278, and other planning and infrastructure agreements, collaborating with local planning authorities and contributing to the success of commercial and residential developments.
Responsibilities
- Manage planning-based projects from inception to completion
- Draft, review, and negotiate planning and infrastructure agreements
- Provide expert advice on the planning system in relation to commercial and residential development
- Collaborate with local planning authorities and other stakeholders
- Contribute to the growth and development of the planning team
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales + 3 PQE
- Experience in general planning, including s106, s38, s278, and other planning and infrastructure agreements
- Knowledge of the planning system in relation to commercial and residential development
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong academic background and ambition for career development
