Contentious Probate Solicitor - Suffolk

We are working with a highly reputable Legal 500 ranked firm and team, who are continuing to expand their busy litigation department with an additional hire in their Contentious Probate team. You will be joining a supportive, collaborative department with a strong reputation and approachable team culture.

Opportunity

This is a superb opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of complex contentious probate matters. You\’ll work with leading experts on cases including Inheritance Act claims, will challenges, trust disputes, estoppel claims, and more.

Responsibilities

1. Managing files and communications efficiently
2. Handling your own cases under supervision
3. Prioritising and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
4. Supporting senior team members on complex cases
5. Building lasting relationships with clients and professional referrers
6. Representing the firm at networking and business development events

Requirements

1. Exposure to contentious probate, litigation, and/or private client work during training
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
3. A proactive mindset and problem-solving attitude
4. Confidence in marketing and client engagement
