Our client, a long-established and reputable legal practice, are seeking a Private Client Lawyer to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional to provide high-quality legal services to clients across the region.

Position Overview

As a Private Client Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in delivering expert legal advice and support to clients in matters related to wills, probate, tax and estates. You will manage a diverse caseload, build strong client relationships, and work collaboratively with the firm's successful private client team to ensure the highest standards of service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a caseload covering wills, probate, tax, estate matters
  • Draft, review, and register wills and lasting powers of attorney
  • Administer estates and handle probate work
  • Assist with the appointment of deputies through the Court of Protection
  • Manage elderly clients' financial affairs, including conducting client meetings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear and practical legal advice
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the private client team through effective teamwork and collaboration
