A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Court of Protection lawyer to join a progressive and expanding private client team in a predominantly remote position. This role offers the chance to undertake highly rewarding work, supporting vulnerable individuals and their families through complex and sensitive legal matters while enjoying the flexibility of home working.
Responsibilities
- Advise on a broad range of Court of Protection and Attorneyship matters, including mental capacity issues, safeguarding concerns and ongoing support for vulnerable clients.
- Maintain client focus with regular visits to clients across the Eastern Region and the Midlands, including private homes, hospitals, hospices and residential care settings.
- Help clients navigate difficult circumstances with compassion and professionalism.
- Play an important role in mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the development of a positive team culture.
Qualifications
- Experienced solicitor, ideally with around four years' PQE.
- Confident managing own caseload and building strong relationships with clients, families and professional contacts.
- Willing to travel throughout the region and located within reasonable travelling distance of Norwich.
