Our client is offering a senior private family opportunity for a fee earner with broad experience in excess of 10 years PQE, managing a varied and complex caseload of clients, some with large estates and pensions. We are seeking a solicitor or legal executive, passionate about this area of law, with experience of managing clients' expectations and finding solutions to financial disputes and negotiating childcare arrangements.
The role will also include grandparents' rights, working with unmarried couples and pre and post nuptial arrangements. To be considered you will demonstrate HNW client exposure, and disputes under TOLATA. There will be client interaction and you will be happy to engage prospect enquiries to secure instruction and work through the complete process.
Meeting clients and being focused on providing solid legal advice and timeframes together with fees discussions is essential. Someone who has empathy but also will be clear on expectations at a time when families are distressed. You will undertake your own advocacy and attend court hearings.
Working in a team at a senior level where you will report and support the Head of Dept, you will be involved with developing more junior members of the team and trainees early into their career in family seat. The role as a fee earner will include meeting realistic billings targets, raising your industry profile and being available for attending industry events.
