This position provides the opportunity to join a well-established and successful legal practice with strong local links and a reputation for excellence. They are expanding their conveyancing team and looking for a conveyancer to take on a busy caseload. The conveyancing department offers a comprehensive service to a diverse range of clients and you will take ownership of your own caseload from instruction to completion, managing all aspects of freehold and leasehold sales/purchases and you will benefit from the services of secretarial support.
Responsibilities
- Undertake transfers of equity and remortgages
- Stamp duty procedures, title checks and search reports
- Enquiries, lease grants/renewals and deeds of surrender
- Refinancing, business acquisitions/sales and utility agreements
- Regulate landlord and tenant relationships
- Take part in business development initiatives
Requirements
- Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
- Strong background in residential conveyancing
- Comfortable with commercial property work (or keen to grow in this area)
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Adaptable and composed in a high-pressure environment
