This position provides the opportunity to join a well-established and successful legal practice with strong local links and a reputation for excellence. They are expanding their conveyancing team and looking for a conveyancer to take on a busy caseload. The conveyancing department offers a comprehensive service to a diverse range of clients and you will take ownership of your own caseload from instruction to completion, managing all aspects of freehold and leasehold sales/purchases and you will benefit from the services of secretarial support.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake transfers of equity and remortgages
  • Stamp duty procedures, title checks and search reports
  • Enquiries, lease grants/renewals and deeds of surrender
  • Refinancing, business acquisitions/sales and utility agreements
  • Regulate landlord and tenant relationships
  • Take part in business development initiatives

Requirements

  • Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
  • Strong background in residential conveyancing
  • Comfortable with commercial property work (or keen to grow in this area)
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Adaptable and composed in a high-pressure environment
