We are seeking a Head of Department for Family, able to manage a busy team who support clients in both Public and Private Family matters.

To be considered, you will have experience of financial remedy, child care and the Legal Aid process.

This is a modern firm who have good processes in place and your position will be to lead a team who are a mix of fee earners and paralegal staff, supporting clients who are facing very difficult periods of their lives and therefore clear communication and factual family legal knowledge are essential along with Advocacy.

This leadership role will suit an ambitious fee earner who can invest in the team to motivate, mentor and upskill.

Invested in improving services to clients and streamlining processes, this is a new role offering strategic development for the firm's family services.

To be considered, you will demonstrate good experience across public and private family matters, currently be working in a supervisory role.

In return, the firm have good technology a great reputation and a solid flow of instructions.

The role is office based, offering good benefits linked to financial performance.
