We are looking to appoint an experienced Legal Secretary to join a fast-moving conveyancing team within a long-established and highly regarded local firm. This is an excellent opportunity to play a central role in supporting property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring everything runs efficiently and seamlessly.
This is a busy, hands-on position where you will be fully immersed in the day-to-day workings of the team. You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to conveyancing fee earners, including preparing and amending legal documentation, handling correspondence and managing client communications with a professional and reassuring approach.
File management will also be a key responsibility, ensuring all matters are accurately maintained, progressed and compliant throughout. You will also play a key role in driving transactions forward, alongside carrying out day-to-day secretarial duties, while also maintaining regular contact with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
The ability to stay organised, manage competing priorities and keep matters moving will be essential to success in this role. This opportunity would suit someone who thrives in a busy conveyancing environment and enjoys being at the heart of a collaborative team.
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a conveyancing support role is highly desirable, along with strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude.
