This is a standout opportunity for an experienced conveyancer to join a well-established and highly regarded firm. You will be part of a busy property department, playing a key role in the team's continued success. Due to a retirement in the team, you will take over an active caseload, and this position would suit an Associate or Senior Associate level individual.
Position Overview
You will take ownership of your own residential conveyancing caseload, handling matters from instruction through to completion. The work is varied and stimulating, ranging from standard sales and purchases to more technical matters such as lease extensions, re-mortgages, and trust-related transactions. While you will enjoy a high degree of autonomy, this is also a collaborative role, offering the chance to support and mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the ongoing development of the department.
Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, lease extensions, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Advise on trust-related matters where they intersect with property work.
- Deliver a high standard of client care, ensuring strong and lasting client relationships.
- Mentor and support junior members of the team, contributing to their training and development.
- Play an active role in networking and business development to promote the team and wider firm.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in independently managing a broad conveyancing caseload.
- Strong technical understanding of residential property law and procedure.
- Confident communicator with excellent client care and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable approach to work.
