Our client, a well-established high street practice with a strong presence across North Essex, is seeking a skilled General Litigation Solicitor and/or Legal Executive to join their busy team. As a qualified disputes lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in managing a varied caseload of disputes, ranging from breach of contract and landlord & tenant matters to neighbourhood and civil disputes. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering effective legal solutions to clients while upholding the firm's commitment to client care.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a diverse caseload of general litigation matters, including breach of contract, landlord & tenant issues, neighbourhood disputes, and civil litigation.
  • Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients, ensuring their unique needs are met.
  • Draft legal documents, correspondence, and court submissions to the highest standards.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution forums.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver comprehensive, integrated legal services.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 1+ years PQE.
  • Proven experience managing a caseload of general litigation matters.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
