We are working with a highly regarded Legal 500 practice in Essex who are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join their dynamic and growing team as a Senior Associate. This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor who wants to take the next step in their career, gain management experience and run a varied caseload while working alongside a large and vibrant team of fee earners with strong secretarial support.
This role will see you working closely with the Head of the Department to share responsibility for supervising junior team members. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop management skills with full support from the Partnership and HR team.
You will provide expert advice to both existing and new clients across a wide range of commercial property matters, such as:
- Leases
- Lease assignments
- Refinancing
- Secured lending
- Transfers of equity
- Easements and wayleaves
- Sales and purchases
- General registered and unregistered conveyancing
Day-to-day responsibilities also include supervising departmental trainees, supporting the supervision of junior lawyers, managing a varied caseload independently with a focus on complex and high-value matters, and contributing to marketing and business development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with over 7 years PQE and strong experience in commercial property. You will be commercially minded, confident supervising junior team members and able to lead initiatives such as departmental policies, get involved with projects and networking & business development.
