We’re supporting a well-established wealth management firm in the recruitment of a Wealth Management Proposition Analyst – a newly created role offering a unique opportunity to transition into the product and proposition space. You’ll support both investment and financial planning proposition development, playing a central role in shaping the firm’s services and advice standards.
The Role
This role supports both the Investment and Financial Planning Proposition Managers and will see you contribute to a range of strategic projects across the business. You’ll collaborate with teams across compliance, advice, and investment management to ensure propositions remain competitive, client-focused, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the review and development of financial planning and investment propositions (including pensions, protection, MPS and DPS)
- Assisting with maintaining advice standards and supporting regulatory change initiatives such as Consumer Duty
- Helping manage provider relationships and collating product and service MI
- Supporting the delivery of propositional change projects and tracking governance activity
- Contributing to improvements in advice collateral such as fact finds, suitability letters, and business submission standards
About You
This role would suit someone from a paraplanning, client service, or a proposition/product background, who is looking for a new challenge. You will need to demonstrate:
- A strong understanding of financial planning and/or investment management products
- Familiarity with advice processes, including suitability letters and fact finds
- An interest in regulatory change and proposition design
- Good analytical, communication, and organisational skills
- A collaborative approach and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Professional qualifications are not essential, but a solid working knowledge of the advice or investment environment is key.
