Wealth Planning Protection Adviser

Protection Adviser | £55,000 | Four days in the office

Build a protection offering within an established wealth management business.

With protection historically referred externally, this firm is looking for a specialist to bring protection advice in-house. An established client base includes many clients with unmet protection needs, creating a significant opportunity.

You’ll shape the proposition, develop internal referrals and become the business’s dedicated protection specialist. As the offering grows, there is scope to build a team around you and progress into a senior position.

You will:

• Advise individuals, families and business owners on personal and business protection.
• Work closely with Wealth Planners and Investment Managers to identify opportunities across existing clients.
• Manage cases from initial conversation through underwriting and implementation.
• Help build the advice processes, provider research and referral pathways underpinning the service.

You will bring:

• Specialist protection advice experience within a protection firm, IFA or mortgage brokerage.
• Strong technical knowledge and confidence managing complex underwriting.
• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, or equivalent.
• The ambition to take ownership of a growing proposition.
