Proposition Manager – Wealth Management
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 + Bonus
I'm currently working with a well-established, highly regarded wealth management firm that is looking to appoint a Proposition Manager into its newly established proposition function.
This is a particularly exciting opportunity to join a business embarking on a significant period of strategic development, with an ambitious 18-month roadmap focused on enhancing its investment propositions, improving client outcomes and driving commercial growth.
Working directly alongside the Head of Proposition, you'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of projects, influence senior stakeholders and play a key role in shaping the firm's future offering.
The Opportunity
The role offers a broad mix of proposition strategy, governance and commercial development, with involvement in several exciting initiatives, including:
- Supporting the potential launch of a new in-house fund business.
- Enhancing the firm's discretionary investment management and advisory propositions.
- Supporting the development of digital-first investment solutions.
- Developing and embedding proposition governance frameworks, including fair value assessments, service reviews and client journey improvements.
- Working closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities for proposition enhancements and commercial growth.
- Taking ownership of projects from initial development through to implementation.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with individuals who have experience across proposition management, product management, product governance, strategy, consultancy or business change within financial services.
You don't necessarily need to be doing an identical role currently.
The business is particularly open to individuals looking to step up into a broader, more strategic position.
Ideally, you'll bring
- Experience within wealth management, investment management, financial planning
- Strong project management, analytical and organisational skills.
- Experience developing or improving processes, frameworks, propositions or customer journeys.
- The confidence to engage with and influence senior stakeholders.
- A commercial mindset, with the ability to balance business objectives with positive client outcomes.
- A proactive, structured approach and the ability to take ownership of initiatives.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
- Genuine strategic influence – play a key role in shaping the future direction of the firm's propositions.
- High-profile projects – involvement in significant business initiatives rather than purely BAU responsibilities.
- Senior exposure – work directly with the Head of Proposition and engage with C-suite stakeholders.
- Broad responsibilities – gain exposure across strategy, governance, commercial development and implementation.
- Career development – an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step up, broaden their experience and take on greater responsibility.
- Established business – join a respected wealth management firm with ambitious plans for the future.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and wants to make a tangible impact within a growing function.
