A prestigious wealth management business is seeking a senior professional to lead and shape its proposition targeting entrepreneurs, business owners post-sale, and professionals requiring complex financial planning and investment services. This is a newly created and strategic hire, offering the opportunity to influence the growth of an integrated financial planning and investment management proposition designed for the unique needs of entrepreneurial clients. You’ll act as the firm's lead spokesperson in this area and be instrumental in building out a market-leading service in partnership with internal specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute a strategic business plan focused on corporate and entrepreneur client segments.
  • Design, price, and promote innovative propositions in partnership with the wider proposition team.
  • Represent the firm in media as the subject matter expert in this specialist area.
  • Lead complex pitch processes, bringing together internal experts to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Build and deepen relationships with professional services firms (e.g. accountancy, tax, and legal practices).
  • Contribute to internal training and proposition development, especially in areas such as post-sale planning.

About You:

  • Professional qualifications in financial planning or investment management (CISI/ CII).
  • Deep understanding of the needs of entrepreneurial clients and professionals post-business sale.
  • Proven business development and pitching experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment management.
  • Gravitas and a collaborative, relationship-driven approach to winning business.

This is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work between home and either a regional office or the London head office. If based outside of London, occasional travel to the London head office (at least once a month) will be expected.
