A leading UK private bank is expanding its private markets investment capability and is seeking a Private Markets Fund Analyst to join their Investment Products & Solutions team. This is a high-impact role for an experienced private markets specialist who enjoys fund research, manager selection and shaping investment offerings for sophisticated HNW and UHNW clients.
You’ll act as a subject-matter expert in private markets, leading fund due diligence, making recommendations to internal investment committees, and building relationships with top-tier fund managers across private equity, private credit and real assets. This is a senior individual contributor role with real visibility and influence across the investment platform.
Key responsibilities- Leading selection, due diligence and ongoing monitoring of third-party private market funds
- Preparing and presenting investment recommendations to internal committees
- Building relationships with fund managers and external partners
- Contributing to the evolution of private markets research and governance frameworks
- Ensuring investment exposures and risks are clearly understood across stakeholders
- Proven experience in private markets fund research, manager selection or allocator roles
- Strong understanding of closed-ended fund structures (evergreen exposure a plus)
- Knowledge across private equity, private debt and/or real assets
- Comfortable presenting to senior investment stakeholders
- CFA or equivalent qualification preferred
- Private bank or wealth manager investment research
- OCIO or multi-family office allocator teams
- Fund-of-funds or private markets advisory firms
Package includes a basic salary of £100k-£130k, annual bonus and generous benefits package.
