Are you passionate about private banking and building strong client relationships? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Private Banker to join one of the UK’s most prestigious private banks on a 14-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.
As an Assistant Private Banker, you will play a key role in supporting Relationship Managers to deliver an exceptional service to high-net-worth clients. You’ll work closely with various teams across the bank, ensuring smooth operations while proactively handling client requests, credit reviews, and lending risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a first point of contact for clients, delivering first class service to HNW clients.
- Conduct credit reviews, lending risk reviews, and AML assessments to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and maintain client documentation, assist in account openings, and monitor daily overdraft positions.
- Support the Relationship Managers with business development, client meetings, and administrative tasks.
- Assist with the preparation of lending propositions and customer reviews.
- Maintain adherence to risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum 2 years in a similar private banking role.
- Strong knowledge of credit, lending risk, AML, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering outstanding client service.
- Basic salary of up to £52K
