Responsibilities

  • Producing design solutions and AutoCAD drawings for our civil engineering projects, fully supported by our experienced team of engineers and technicians.
  • Working on smaller projects allowing you to develop your practical skillset.
  • Progressing to working independently on larger and more challenging projects.
  • Developing skills in highways, drainage, earthworks, geotechnics, bridges/civil engineering structures and project & design management, with an appreciation for sustainable development.
  • Working on a range of different projects delivering unique solutions for a range of clients.
  • Working on a wide range of schemes, all of which have specific design requirements and constraints.
  • Working on a broad variety of projects which help to develop and improve societies and the economy and look toward ensuring a sustainable future.

Qualifications

  • A relevant degree, such as Civil and/or Structural Engineering degree, or studying towards a relevant degree for the role you are applying for.
  • A knowledge of AutoCAD and other industry software.
  • Keen to share your ideas about how we can do things better.
  • Great communication skills developed through well-rounded life experience - academically, socially and in any previous work situations.
  • Enthusiastic and ambitious to learn and progress.
  • A problem solver with strong communication skills.
  • Personal organisation skills, and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Right to Work and live in the UK.
  • Work experience in the Engineering industry, either through work experience or as part of an academic course, are ideally sought.
