What You’ll Be Doing
- Comply with all relevant Divisional and Company procedures and policies.
- Adopt a professional approach at all times.
- Assist the Engineers with their design duties.
- Demonstrate independent management of own time.
- Preparation of drawings and analytical information.
- Keep abreast of developments within field of operation and share knowledge with others.
- Demonstrate in depth knowledge and application of AutoCAD, Revit and BWB standards.
- Ability to work with x-refs and multiple drawing files.
- Ability to plan and monitor work loads to achieve project demands.
- Excellent communication and personal effectiveness skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
- Take a leading role to provide solutions to technical problems including the ability to identify and mitigate project related risks in collaboration with Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer or Team Leader.
- To provide support and assistance to the Line Manager as appropriate.
- Day to day assistance and mentoring other team members of the team.

What you’ll bring
- To demonstrate a working knowledge and expertise in the use of AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ability to coordinate structural details with external design team members.
- Ability to provide captured/detailed hand sketches during the design process to explain designs
To demonstrate a working knowledge and expertise in the following structural disciplines relevant to the role:
Steelwork, Concrete, Masonry, Timber, Foundations
Use of IT
- To demonstrate a working knowledge in the use of software packages including Excel, Word, AutoCAD and Outlook.
- To demonstrate a working knowledge in one or more specific structural detailing software tools such as CADS RC, Revit or 3D Max.
