What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the technical delivery of design tasks and activities
- Preparing and/or checking/approving detailed technical reports, calculations, drawings and specifications
- Developing designs from concept stage through to detailed design, implementing workflow, design processes and best practices
- Supporting the technical and professional development of team members
- Communicating directly with clients and other stakeholders
- Contributing to the resource management of the team and the development and delivery of the business strategy
- Ensuring the team complies with relevant standards, regulations and project briefs as well as BWB’s Quality Management System
Experience across National Highways, Network Rail, Local Highway Authorities and private development projects

- Experience working on projects across National Highway, Network Rail, local highway authorities, and private developments
- Proficiency in developing designs from initial concept through to detailed design, ensuring a seamless transition across project stages
- Skilled in preparing comprehensive technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications with attention to detail
- Ability to implement efficient workflows, design processes and best practices to enhance project outcomes
- Strong background in quality management, ensuring all work complies with relevant standards, regulations and project briefs
- Experience leading smaller projects and managing tasks or activities within larger projects
