What Success Looks Like in this Role

What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and managing Phase I and Phase II ground investigations – from design and procurement to supervision and reporting.
- Overseeing all aspects of geo-environmental project delivery, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline expectations are met.
- Coordinating remediation activities and working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Compiling desk studies, scheduling laboratory testing, and analysing data to drive robust outcomes.
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a supportive team environment.
- Keeping ahead of industry trends and integrating innovative solutions into our projects.
What You’ll Bring
- A degree in Environmental Sciences, Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Geology, or related field (MSc preferred).
- Chartered status or working towards it with a recognised professional institution.
- A valid CSCS card (essential for site work).
- At least five years’ experience in geo-environmental consultancy.
- Strong technical expertise in ground investigation, soil/rock logging (BS5930 and Eurocode 7), and lab analysis.
- Excellent report writing, data analysis, and IT skills.
- A proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- A collaborative, solution-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm, ambition, and a proactive approach to professional growth.
