What You’ll Be Doing

• Organising and coordinating meetings with technical specialists and external stakeholders
• Supporting research for stakeholder mapping and audits
• Researching and developing themes, core messages and collateral for multiple audiences and stakeholders, including digital users, the media, local communities, statutory bodies, technical groups, and elected representatives
• Assisting with the production of consultation and event materials, working with the wider team and suppliers
• Attending and organising events (live and digital)
• Supporting the development of surveys, managing stakeholder feedback channels and analysing consultation responses (qualitative and quantitative)
• Assisting with newsletters and other marketing and communications outputs
• Aiding in preparation of consultation outputs such as Statements of Community Involvement

What You’ll Bring

• A relevant degree in Public Relations, Politics, Communications, Psychology, Social Sciences, Human Geography, Journalism, Economics (or equivalent), with a keen interest in Stakeholder Engagement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to write content for multiple channels tailored to different audiences
• Ability to organise and manage time across multiple projects and clients
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate to solve complex issues
• Good knowledge and interest in digital communications and engagement tools
• Enthusiasm for shaping the built environment and sustainable design
• Understanding of current affairs – political environment and issues affecting the built environment, including major infrastructure and regeneration schemes
• Commitment to continuous professional development with an aspiration to become CIPR Chartered or equivalent
