What You’ll Be Doing
- Organising and coordinating meetings with technical specialists and external stakeholders
- Supporting research for stakeholder mapping and audits
- Researching and developing themes, core messages and collateral for multiple audiences and stakeholders, including digital users, the media, local communities, statutory bodies, technical groups, and elected representatives
- Assisting with the production of consultation and event materials, working with the wider team and suppliers
- Attending and organising events (live and digital)
- Supporting the development of surveys, managing stakeholder feedback channels and analysing consultation responses (qualitative and quantitative)
- Assisting with newsletters and other marketing and communications outputs
- Aiding in preparation of consultation outputs such as Statements of Community Involvement
What You’ll Bring
- A relevant degree in Public Relations, Politics, Communications, Psychology, Social Sciences, Human Geography, Journalism, Economics (or equivalent), with a keen interest in Stakeholder Engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to write content for multiple channels tailored to different audiences
- Ability to organise and manage time across multiple projects and clients
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate to solve complex issues
- Good knowledge and interest in digital communications and engagement tools
- Enthusiasm for shaping the built environment and sustainable design
- Understanding of current affairs – political environment and issues affecting the built environment, including major infrastructure and regeneration schemes
- Commitment to continuous professional development with an aspiration to become CIPR Chartered or equivalent
