What Success Looks Like In This Role
You’ll thrive in this role if you
- Deliver high-quality geotechnical solutions from concept through to construction
- Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and contractors
- Approach every challenge with curiosity, confidence, and a desire to learn
- What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in a growing, energetic geotechnical team – getting hands-on and leading technical input across exciting and diverse projects in the UK and internationally.
- Your Work Will Span The Whole Project Lifecycle, Including
- Desk studies, ground investigations, and site supervision
- Geotechnical analysis and design (foundations, retaining structures, slopes, earthworks)
- Reporting, risk assessment, and solution-focused engineering
- Regular site visits and short periods of site-based work
- What You’ll Bring
You’ll bring a passion for geotechnics and
- A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a geotechnical discipline
- 2+ years’ experience in consultancy and working toward Chartership
- Experience managing & supervising ground investigations
- Working knowledge of UK design codes (including EC7) and geotechnical design practice
- Strong communication & MS Office skills
- A willingness to travel and engage in site-based work
- A full driving licence
