The Senior Bid Designer is responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative bid documentation that reflects the BW brand. Reporting to the Head of Creative Services, the role supports the creation of tender submissions, presentations and templates, while maintaining brand consistency, developing creative resources and mentoring junior team members.
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver high-quality bid documents, presentations and creative collateral from concept to completion, ensuring brand consistency and accuracy.
- Manage multiple deadlines across PQQs, PTIs, tenders and other creative projects.
- Proofread and quality-check all work before client submission.
- Support and improve Creative Services processes, templates and libraries.
- Ensure quality standards, KPIs and team processes are met, identifying and implementing improvements where needed.
- Collaborate with bid teams and departments to develop engaging, innovative content and presentations.
- Keep stakeholders updated on project progress, workload and performance.
- Manage time effectively, consistently meeting deadlines.
- Research and apply new design trends, technologies and best practices to keep BW's collateral industry-leading.
- Contribute to the Creative Services strategy and help shape future improvements.
- Mentor junior designers through regular coaching, tutorials and one-to-one development sessions.
- Maintain the bespoke design library and develop a portfolio of work.
- Support team collaboration, knowledge sharing and team-building initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, with strong Photoshop and Illustrator experience (additional Creative Cloud skills are desirable).
- A creative mindset with a passion for innovation, continuous improvement and high-quality design.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to mentor and support colleagues.
