Hope Community Project is an independent registered Charity that has been working for the past 40 years with the most vulnerable and isolated members of the community in the Heath Town area of Wolverhampton. We support people towards achieving a brighter future, financially, socially and mentally. Its aim is to address the issues caused by the cost-of-living crisis to secure the futures of local people by improving their financial wellbeing, raise educational and employability aspirations, reduce loneliness and social isolation. Father Hudson’s Caritas are the employer for this post on behalf of Hope Community Project.
Responsible for day-to-day management and coordination of the Spokes, Skills and Spoons staff team, sessional workers and volunteers, as agreed with the Chief Executive Officer.
The Project Manager will take operational responsibility for Spokes, Skills and Spoons, turning the approved project plan into a coordinated, safe and responsive programme. They will lead the project team, manage resources and budgets, maintain clear systems, strengthen partnerships and ensure that delivery remains on time, within budget and accountable to the funder.
The postholder will be the main link between participants, staff, volunteers, partners, the Community Steering Group, the Chief Executive Officer and trustees. They will protect the project's community-led character and ensure that residents' skills, cultural knowledge and lived experience shape both delivery and improvement.
