Child Friendly Neighbourhood (CFN) works with children, young people and families across Sparkhill to improve childhood experiences and create a community where children feel heard, included and able to thrive. Our work is shaped around Engagement, Enrichment and Environment, with play and children's voice at the heart of what we do.
The Healthy Childhood Support Worker will support the delivery of our Healthy Childhood work, helping children and families to experience the benefits of physical activity, play, movement and healthy lifestyles.
Working closely with the Healthy Childhood Coordinator, the postholder will provide practical support with the Healthy Childhood Programme and contribute to wider CFN activities including Girls Club, Sunshine Club, Forest School, holiday Playschemes and community activities.
This is a practical, hands‑on role. The postholder will not have overall responsibility for planning or leading programmes but will be expected to actively contribute to their successful delivery, build positive relationships with children and bring enthusiasm, initiative and ideas to the role.
- Salary: £26,605 – £27,717 (£10,933 - £11,390 pro rata)
