About us: We believe the next generation of financial services will be powered by stablecoins. Founded in 2021, our mission at BVNK is to accelerate global money movement. We’re building stablecoin-native infrastructure so businesses can move value instantly across borders and networks. With global licenses and T1 bank partnerships, we facilitate billions in transactions for enterprise clients like Worldpay, Deel, LianLian Global, and Rapyd. Our technology is transforming how businesses operate globally by eliminating payment delays, reducing costs, and unlocking trapped capital. We’re a diverse team spread across EMEA, North America, and APAC, with a shared belief that stablecoins are the new infrastructure layer for financial services, and that BVNK is at the forefront of this shift.

In 2025, we secured strategic investment from Visa, following our $50 million Series B with Haun Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Scribble Ventures, DRW Venture Capital, Avenir, and Tiger Global. With the backing of these leading investors, we’re accelerating our growth – and we're looking for smart, ambitious people to help us build the future of financial services. We're incredibly honoured to have made Newsweek's list of The Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces three years running (most recently in 2025) and to have been recognised by LinkedIn as one of the Top 20 Startups in the UK in 2024.

About this role in the team: We’re looking for an experienced and commercially driven VP Cards to lead and scale BVNK’s Cards business globally. This is a strategic leadership role at the intersection of stablecoins, payments, and card infrastructure. As VP Cards, you will own the end-to-end strategy, commercial performance, and operational execution of BVNK’s stablecoin-backed card programme. You will work cross-functionally across product, engineering, compliance, operations, partnerships, and go-to-market teams to build a market-leading Cards offering for fintechs, crypto-native businesses, trading platforms, and global enterprises. This role requires deep expertise across card issuing, scheme relationships, payments infrastructure, compliance, and commercial growth, alongside the ability to operate effectively in a high-growth and fast-moving environment.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Own the Cards product roadmap — Define and drive the strategy, roadmap, and GTM for BVNK's stablecoin-backed card programme.
  • Manage partner ecosystem — Own commercial and operational relationships with card related partners.
  • Drive revenue and commercial growth — Build the commercial strategy for Cards, own the revenue line, and lead client acquisition across target segments including fintechs, crypto-native businesses, and trading platforms.
  • Lead regulatory and compliance — Be the internal authority on card issuing regulation across key markets.
  • Build and lead top cards talent — Recruit a cross-functional team spanning product, commercial, operations, and compliance to scale the offering.
  • Run card programme operations — Oversee disputes, chargebacks, fraud controls, and transaction monitoring.
  • Build and launch market leading features — Partner with engineering and product to build and launch the future of the Cards product.
  • Represent Cards externally — Act as the face of BVNK's Cards product with enterprise clients, partners, regulators, and at industry events.
  • Own Cards unit economics and reporting — Define KPIs, track product health (spend volume, interchange, fraud, activation), and deliver exec-level visibility into the Cards business unit.

What we need from you:

  • Extensive experience leading card products, card programmes, or card infrastructure businesses within fintech, payments, banking, or crypto environments.
  • Deep understanding of the global cards ecosystem, including issuing, acquiring, card schemes, processors, BIN sponsorship, interchange, and programme management.
  • Proven experience owning and scaling a commercial P&L or revenue-generating business line.
  • Strong track record of building and executing product and commercial strategies in high-growth environments.
  • Experience launching and scaling card products across multiple geographies and regulatory environments.
  • Strong understanding of card issuing regulations, compliance frameworks, fraud controls, and operational processes.
  • Demonstrated success managing strategic external partnerships and enterprise customer relationships.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect product decisions to business outcomes and revenue growth.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams.
  • Knowledge and passion for stablecoins, crypto infrastructure, and the future of global payments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level reporting and external representation.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience building and managing high-performing teams.

Nice to have:

  • Experience building stablecoin-backed or crypto-linked card products.
  • Existing relationships across card schemes, issuers, processors, and fintech ecosystem partners.
  • Experience operating in regulated global payments environments across EMEA, APAC, or North America.
  • Background in high-growth fintech or crypto infrastructure companies.
  • Experience scaling products from early-stage launch through to global expansion.

What you can expect from us:

  • Fair and competitive salary at every stage of your growth.
  • Flexible working hours, with hybrid working at its heart.
  • A culture built on passionate, growth-minded people.
  • A flexible approach to holiday.
