About this role in the team: We are seeking a driven candidate to join our Fintech and PSP team as Director of Account Management, focusing on all aspects of account management and customer success. As Director of Account Management, you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Managers as well as managing and growing key client relationships. Reporting to the SVP - Fintech & PSP, you will play a strategic role in driving customer success, increasing account value, ensuring longâterm retention, and delivering value to our clients.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their success with our products and services.
- Develop and execute account growth strategies, identifying opportunities for upselling and crossâselling.
- Maintain and strengthen customer relationships, leading contract renewals and negotiations to maximise lifetime value.
- Deepen existing partnerships by delivering tailored value propositions that increase share of wallet.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Support) to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers, setting clear expectations around performance, accountability, and partner outcomes.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and ramping of new team members as the Account Management organization scales.
- Foster a collaborative, highâperformance, and inclusive team culture.
- Proactively identify and resolve customer challenges, ensuring swift issue resolution.
- Analyse account performance data to provide strategic insights and drive informed decisionâmaking.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes, sharing insights with the broader business.
- Drive adoption of AI and automation tools to improve client experience and operational workflows.
What we need from you:
- Proven experience in account management, customer success, or a similar role within Payments or FinTech.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop highâperforming teams.
- Deep understanding of crypto, blockchain, stablecoins, or digital assets.
- Strong track record of managing and growing enterpriseâlevel accounts.
- Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strategic mindset with a history of driving revenue growth within existing accounts.
- Strong analytical skills to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Proven track record of improving processes and efficiencies through AI and automation.
- Ability to work crossâfunctionally and manage multiple priorities in a fastâpaced environment.
