About this role in the team:

As an Analyst, Risk and Governance, you will play an instrumental role in implementing and embedding the risk management and governance frameworks at BVNK. Reporting into the VP Risk and Governance, you will ensure that risk and governance practices are efficient and embedded.

This position requires an experienced risk practitioner, a versatile individual with experience in managing risk and governance processes. You will have experience in developing and embedding risk and governance frameworks, ensuring that risk management and governance are seen as value adding across the business.

In this role, you will be expected to take ownership of the enhancement and operation of key components of the risk management and governance frameworks. You\\\'ll work cross-functionally to embed risk management and governance practices, providing support and guidance to stakeholders.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Acting as a subject matter expert of the risk management system, Protecht, creating custom reports and dashboards to meet stakeholder needs, and using the data to inform risk based analysis and decision making. Acting as Administrator of the system, overseeing access management and monitoring the quality of data.
• Managing the governance of Committees and Forums, ensuring that they meet their terms of reference and are effective in managing the associated risks.
• Producing governance packs and reporting to a high standard for Committees, Forums and other meetings, ensuring that stakeholder and regulatory needs are met.
• Working with the Company Secretary to support the governance of regulated entities, ensuring that risk matters are adequately reported.
• Managing the policy governance framework, ensuring that policies are created and maintained in line with the standards, and that policy controls are implemented and monitored.
• Overseeing incident reporting, ensuring that remediation is completed effectively and that controls are improved to prevent recurrence.
• Conducting control assurance activities to validate that controls are designed and operating effectively, working closely with other assurance functions.
• Providing training and guidance to business stakeholders on risk management and governance processes, including use of the risk management tool, Protecht.

What we need from you:

• Have experience in operating risk management frameworks and risk systems;
• Have experience in operating governance frameworks, including Committee reporting;
• Have experience in the global payments and/or crypto market (desired, not essential)
• Are an excellent communicator, comfortable liaising with a variety of stakeholders;
• Are a self-starter and problem-solver, who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
