The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
Reporting to the Front of House Manager, you will be providing operational management support throughout the hotel at all times, monitoring guest satisfaction, security, employee activity, and physical defects with a main focus on the lobby and guest-room area. You will be liaising internally with all departments and externally with hotel guests, designated service company personnel, and vendors.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the efficiency levels in Front Office.
- Overseeing the operation of all Front of House departments in the absence of the relevant HOD and Night Manager.
- Carrying out all appointed Night Audit duties.
- Maximizing every opportunity to increase revenue by upselling.
- Interacting with guests at every opportunity.
You will be fully aware of all happenings in the hotel which may affect the role of the Night Duty Manager. This includes management decisions, new directives and rates, events, sales visits, etc., and ensuring this information is shared with your team. A major part of your role is to ensure a record is kept of guest feedback so remedial action can take place to resolve outstanding problems.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have operational knowledge and demonstrated expertise of MARSHA, Opera, Excel, and Word. You are likely to have relevant NVQ or professional qualifications, although your technical skills and flexibility will be what sets you apart.
To be successful in your application, you will already have experience from within a luxury service environment along with an excellent understanding of the 5-star hospitality industry. You will be an impeccably presented individual who possesses excellent customer service skills, with your ability to engage with our guests being one of your greatest assets.
