We are looking for a Public Area Attendant to join our Housekeeping team, playing a key role in maintaining the exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation that our guests expect throughout the hotel.
Working closely with the Housekeeping management team, you will help ensure all public areas, guest facilities and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe, welcoming and luxurious environment for guests and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining all public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, corridors, lifts, public restrooms and guest facilities.
- Ensuring all areas are presented to the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance at all times.
- Carrying out regular checks of public areas and responding promptly to cleaning requirements.
- Replenishing guest supplies and amenities in public areas as required.
- Reporting maintenance issues, damages or health and safety concerns to the appropriate department.
- Assisting with deep cleaning projects and periodic cleaning schedules.
- Supporting the Housekeeping team during busy periods as required.
- Following all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
- Handling cleaning equipment and products safely and responsibly.
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties to support the smooth operation of the Housekeeping department.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and have a strong eye for detail. They will be reliable, well-organised and committed to delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness and service.
Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning or a similar role within a hotel or luxury hospitality environment would be advantageous, although full training will be provided. A positive attitude, good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team are essential.
