Purpose Of The Role
As a Delivery Manager, you will support cross‑functional teams in delivering key business initiatives, ensuring projects run smoothly from planning through to completion. You will help teams break down complex requirements, solve problems, improve delivery practices and maintain strong communication between engineering, product and operational teams. Your role is essential in driving momentum, supporting decision‑making and ensuring projects deliver real business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting one or more cross‑functional teams in delivering business initiatives and acting as a hands‑on partner throughout the delivery process.
- Breaking down requirements, analysing dependencies and helping teams plan achievable milestones.
- Tracking delivery progress, identifying risks early and communicating updates clearly to stakeholders.
- Facilitating strong communication between engineering, product and leadership teams to ensure aligned expectations.
- Guiding teams through requirement analysis using user stories, epics and supporting documentation.
- Removing blockers, managing escalations and balancing competing priorities to maintain momentum.
- Encouraging continuous improvement by refining processes, tools and best practices across delivery teams.
- Helping teams improve performance through coaching, facilitation and effective problem‑solving.
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst within software or technical environments.
- Strong understanding of project management methods and the ability to apply the right approach for each situation.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to work with complex concepts and imperfect data.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate, influence and collaborate across multiple teams.
- Highly organised and able to manage shifting priorities without losing sight of key objectives.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think ahead and anticipate challenges.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to work closely and effectively with engineering teams.
