Are you a Trainee Bookkeeper or Junior Bookkeeper with at least one year experience working in an Accountancy practice firm, looking to upgrade to a medium size Top 100 accountancy firm that specialises in working with high profile individuals and international companies from the Film, TV, Media, Sport, Entertainment, Theatre and Creative sectors? Are you also looking for a firm that will offer you a good work life balance, study support for your AAT qualification and allow you to work from home one day a week? Are you looking to work for a friendly and sociable firm, with good training and support and based in an easily accessible location in Zone 1 Central London?
Your role will be varied and will include:
- Reporting directly to a Qualified Manager
- Having a very hands on role
- Liaising directly with all clients
- Preparing the full range of bookkeeping services for clients (Preparing accounts to Trial Balance, Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, Sales and Purchase Ledger processing, making Payments, Banking etc)
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Being trained to prepare simple management accounts
- Answering client queries
Your role will be varied and challenging, and full training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many exciting growth opportunities in the future. The firm uses modern cloud based software including Xero and Quickbooks Online.
To be considered for this newly created role, you must be a Trainee Bookkeeper or Junior Bookkeeper with at least one year bookkeeping experience (or more) from a good quality UK based accountancy firm. You must have experience of the above duties, particularly bookkeeping and VAT returns. You must now be looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial and modern boutique accountancy firm which will offer you many learning opportunities and the ability to work in a high profile, varied and rewarding new position.
This growing accountancy firm with over 80 staff has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles. The firm has a real family feel, with a very low staff turnover and staff always have successful long term careers at the firm. You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of companies and High Net Worth Individuals.
