Are you an ACA or ACCA part qualified Audit Semi Senior or Audit & Accounts Semi Senior from a good quality accountancy firm, looking to upgrade to a large Top 30 accountancy firm? This role consists of audit (90%) and statutory accounts preparations (10%). Do you have at least 18 months experience in an audit bias role and a strong pass rate in your ACA or ACCA exams? Are you looking for a role with great future progression and excellent support and training to finish your remaining professional exams quickly and become a highly skilled qualified accountant?
If so, this Top 30 firm based in Zone 1 Central London is looking to expand and recruit an ambitious new Audit Semi Senior to join their growing and successful Audit and Assurance department due to impressive new business wins. Reporting directly to Manager and Partner level, your role will include leading small audits from planning to completion, carrying out testing on larger audits, preparing statutory accounts from start to finish, and other ad hoc duties as required. You will liaise directly with clients, work in teams, and independently on smaller assignments.
The firm offers flexible hybrid working for all staff, allowing you to work 2 days from home a week, sometimes more. They also promote a great work-life balance and shorter working hours compared to other large firms.
To be considered for this role (January 2025), you must be a part qualified ACA or ACCA Audit Semi Senior or Audit & Accounts Semi Senior with at least 18 months to 2 years experience in an audit bias role. Ideally, you should have first time passes in your professional exams, but the firm would consider strong candidates with no more than 2 resits. You must be working in a role that is at least 50% audit based. Strong academics and experience in an audit-based role or a mixed general practice role that includes audit and accounts are preferred. You must be professional, dedicated to your career, and looking to upgrade to a high-quality Top 30 firm.
