Are you a Statutory Accounts Manager or Business Services Manager, fully ACA Qualified with at least 2 years PQE, looking to upgrade to a Leeds based Top 10 international accountancy practice? Are you looking for a role which is mainly statutory accounts and advisory based, that will involve managing your own portfolio of clients, managing workflow, managing staff, reviewing work and assisting with new business development?
This growing international Top 10 accountancy practice firm based in Leeds is looking to recruit an ACA Qualified Statutory Accounts Manager or Business Services Manager due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from larger firms. Your role will be varied and include:
- Managing your own portfolio of clients
- Reporting directly to Partner level
- Liaising directly with all clients
- Preparing high quality statutory accounts and working papers from start to finish under both FRS 102 and IFRS
- Preparing consolidated accounts for large groups and international businesses
- Offering clients advice on how to improve their business
You will also get the chance to work on various advisory and ad hoc client projects. The role will mainly be review based but could include some hands-on work for larger and more complex assignments. You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many opportunities in the future including the chance to be promoted to a higher level in a short space of time.
To be considered for this newly created role, you will be a qualified ACA with at least 2 years PQE and currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties (the preparation of high quality statutory accounts and ideally preparing trust accounts) and operating at Manager level. You will be working for a medium or large sized firm and looking to step up to a role with more responsibility, better progression and the chance to work on larger clients including groups and international businesses.
Experience of various software packages such as Pro Audit, Caseware and CCH would be an advantage. They offer hybrid working plus flexi start/finish times. The atmosphere is casual, relaxed and friendly.
