Are you an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Assistant Manager from a good quality large accountancy firm with experience of auditing insurance clients, looking to upgrade to a Top 10 international practice? This role consists of audit (90%) and ad hoc advisory projects (10%).
We are seeking someone who wants to continue auditing insurance clients and work for one of the main firms in the UK that specialises in large and high profile international insurance and Lloyds Syndicate clients. The position offers great future progression and excellent support and training to progress to full Manager grade in a short space of time.
This large Top 10 firm based in Zone 1 Central London is looking to recruit an ambitious new Audit Assistant Manager to join the team which specialises in auditing insurance and financial services clients. Your role will include:
- Leading audits from planning to completion
- Managing teams
- Reviewing work
- Liaising with clients
- Other ad hoc duties when required
You will also start to manage a portfolio of clients. The firm offers flexible working/hybrid working for all staff, allowing you to work 2-3 days from home a week, sometimes more. They promote a great work-life balance and shorter working hours compared to other large firms.
To be considered for this role (April 2025), you must be a qualified ACA/ACCA Audit Assistant Manager (either newly qualified or with up to 3 years PQE) with strong academics and a strong exam history. You must have at least 3 years experience in a good quality accountancy firm in a role that is at least 70% audit based, with experience auditing insurance-based clients and a strong interest in continuing in this area.
