Are you a Senior Bookkeeper with at least 5 years experience in an accountancy practice firm, looking to upgrade to a medium‑size Top‑100 accountancy firm that specialises in working with high‑profile individuals and international companies from the Film, TV, Media, Sport, Entertainment and Creative sectors? Do you want a firm that offers a good work‑life balance, the opportunity to work from home one day a week, a friendly and sociable environment, and solid training and support, all based in an easily accessible location in Zone 1 in Central London? You will be reporting directly to a Qualified Manager, have a hands‑on role, liaise directly with all clients, and prepare the full range of bookkeeping services for clients, which includes preparing accounts to Trial Balance, Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, reconciliation of balance‑sheet accounts, Sales and Purchase Ledger processing, making Payments, Banking, VAT returns, and management accounts (if you have experience).

In addition to the core bookkeeping duties, you will also be able to work on other areas of accountancy such as various reports, analysis and business management assignments, including recommending new cloud‑based software to clients. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a newly created role that offers many exciting growth opportunities in the future. The firm uses modern cloud‑based software including Xero and Quickbooks Online.

To be considered for this newly created role, you must be a Senior Bookkeeper with at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience (or more) and have experience with cloud‑based software such as Xero. You must currently be working for a high‑quality UK‑based accountancy firm and have experience with the above duties, particularly bookkeeping and VAT returns. You must be looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial and modern boutique accountancy firm that offers learning opportunities and the ability to work in a high‑profile, varied and rewarding position.
