Job Description
Are you an experienced Personal Assistant with experience working for an accountancy practice firm? Do you also have some experience of finance based tasks, for example data entry and a solid understanding of accounting and finance terminology? Are you keen to work for a medium sized and rapidly growing accountancy firm with over 80 staff based in Londons West End?
Are you keen to work for a relaxed yet professional accountancy firm that specialises in working with high profile media, entertainment, film and TV clients? In this newly created role due to growth, your responsibilities will include: audio typing, incorporating new clients, adding new clients to the system, maintaining client company secretarial information, calling HMRC, letters of engagement, monitoring emails, emailing clients reminders, references, dealing with client queries and other ad hoc duties as required. You will also be responsible for some finance related based duties, such as data entry, basic bookkeeping and simple bank reconciliations.
Your role will be challenging, varied and you will learn new transferable skills. You will interact with all staff within the firm, meaning you will develop a useful understanding of how the world of accountancy and business operates.To be considered for this new role (August 2025) you must have experience working as a PA in an accountancy practice firm with experience of the above duties. Having experience of some basic finance duties such as bank recs, bookkeeping etc would be beneficial.
It is likely you will have at least 3 5 years of experience in a similar role and be able to work to tight deadlines. You must be a team player, have very strong spelling, punctuation and grammar, be a good multi tasker, be able to work under pressure, have strong communication skills and be professional at all times.This well known and growing medium size accountancy practice firm based in Zone 1 Central London has grown at a tremendous rate over the last few years and has a very impressive client base that rivals a much larger firm. You will work for a Senior Equity Partner and learn a lot about their clients and business overall.
