Are you an Accounts Semi Senior, Accounts Assistant or Trainee Accountant with at least one year experience in a good quality accountancy firm, looking to upgrade to a large Top 20 practice based in Central London (City location) which will offer you first rate support, training, exposure to interesting clients and rapid progression?
Are you keen to work in a firm with high levels of responsibility, work with an interesting client base and be trained so you can improve your overall accountancy skills and ability to advise high profile clients? Are you also looking for study support for either the AAT, ACCA or ACA qualifications?
Based in a large and supportive team, your role will be varied and include:
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts (training will be provided if you don’t have experience of this)
- Assisting prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts
- VAT returns
- Bookkeeping assignments (bank reconciliations, journal entries, sales and purchase ledger, making payments etc)
- Tax returns
- Being trained on other areas of accountancy where necessary
You will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from interesting sectors such as retail, technology, media and entertainment, renewable energy, financial services and many other interesting sectors. You will also use a range of cloud based software packages such as Xero.
You will work in a growing and supportive team and be provided with many opportunities to learn new skills and progress in a short space of time.
To be considered for this newly created role due to growth (May 2026) you will likely be an Accounts Assistant, Trainee Accountant or Accounts Semi Senior with at least one year experience (or more) and currently studying the AAT, ACCA or ACA. You must have experience of at least VAT returns and bookkeeping, and it would be an advantage if you had experience of preparing statutory accounts and tax returns but training will be provided. Ideally you will have experience of cloud software packages including Xero. You must also be looking to upgrade to a large Top 20 firm based in London.
As well as full study support the firm also offers hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
